About Sherry Ashby

Sherry Ashby It is from my roots of growing up in Down East Maine that defines me. Here we live by the seasons and have been brought up in the shared labor of a coastal village built by the sardine industry. I was forever that barefoot kid collecting sticks and stones and found bones. My pockets full of feathers and treasures after spending a day out in the briney salt filled world looking at clouds.

I make my living through Art and Garden. I am a painter, print maker and illustrator. I combine that with a seasonal flower garden service for private estates. Sometimes I paint the gardens I create. The combination of a world filled with beauty and labor is a blessed balance for me.
